Scituate: Group opposing church closings says Archdiocese made deal with Vatican to deny appeals

A group protesting the closing of Roman Catholic parishes says that the latest denial of local churches appeals by the Vatican is the result of a backroom deal in Rome–But Archdiocese officials say that claim is simply made up.
