Scituate: Selectmen vote to reorganize board

Scituate Selectmen voted to reorganize their board at their meeting Tuesday night.

Selectman Chair Tony Vegnani stepped down to become the Vice Chairman and Selectman John Danehey made a motion to nominate Selectman Joe Norton as the board’s new chairman.

Norton then praised Vegnani for his work as the chairman during an extremely tough year.

Selectman Shawn Harris will take over the clerk’s position from Selectman Rick Murray.

Scituate’s Board of Selectmen votes to reorganize their board on an annual basis.
