Duxbury: Beaches back open to swimmers

Residents Beach in Duxbury is once again open to swimmers after bacteria counts came back lower Saturday night.

All other beaches in town have also tested clean.

In Marshfield, officials have been unable to test the waters at Green Harbor Beach because of too much seaweed, so bacteria levels aren’t known, but no warnings have been posted.

Testing is expected at Green Harbor on Tuesday.

All other Marshfield town beaches are safe for swimming.
