A 25-year old Carver man was arrested Friday for cultivating marijuana at his home.

Carver police unexpectedly confiscated 22 marijuana plants, hash, cocaine, Suboxone, and Oxycodone after they arrived at Stephen Burke’s residence to serve an arrest warrant for a probation violation.

After police obtained a search warrant to confiscate the plants and drugs, Burke was arrested on a slew of new drug charges including intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Carver Police also seized hydroponic equipment which was used to grow the marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and about $4,400.

Burke was scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon at Wareham District Court.
