Celtics open 2012-’13 season against champion Heat

(AP) – The NBA schedule has been released, and the champion Miami Heat are part of an opening-night tripleheader.

The Heat will raise their banner at home on October 30th against the Boston Celtics – meaning Ray Allen’s first game with Miami is against his

former club.

Boston will host the Brooklyn Nets on Christmas day.
