Robert Reardon went from a Firefighter Paramedic to Fire Captain with the help of Duxbury Town Clerk Nancy Oates who swore him in and wife, Jen, who pinned on his new Captain’s badge.

Reardon who lives in Carver with his wife and son has been with the Duxbury Fire Department for a decade. “It’s just a great new opportunity to continue in the department and climb the ladder,” said Reardon

Fire Chief Kevin Nord also recognized Deputy Chief Chris West, during Monday night’s Selectmen’s meeting, for his 25 years of service in Duxbury.
