Hingham: Aquarion replaces Operations V.P in the midst of an acquisition study

In recent months, Harry Hibbard has become a familiar face in Hingham, representing Aquarion Water at committee meetings and organizing informational sessions to win over customers in Hingham, Hull, and Cohasset.

But according to an Aquarion spokesperson, the company’s Massachusetts executive is no longer with the company, stating they want their Massachusetts division to have the same excellent customer service rating they have in other states.

Aquarion serves residents in five Massachusetts towns. Hingham is a study to investigate purchasing the water system is currently underway.

Hibbard has been with Aquarion since 2009.

Neither he nor the water company could be reached for further comment.
