Hull: America’s birthday celebrated with music and dancing

More than a hundred people attended Hull’s summer kickoff concert at the Bernie King Pavilion, just off Nantasket Beach, which featured ‘Four Guys in Tuxes.’

Guitarist and Band Leader G. Andrew Maness said within the 20 years they’ve played in Hull for the Fourth of July, this was one of the largest crowds he’s seen, “Fourth of July is always a big deal down here, but this is something else. I don’t know what happened today unless the weather’s been so good for so long and everyone’s so grateful there’s a break in the rain. It’s a wonderful, appreciative crowd; it always is.”

Many Hull residents, like Paul and Linda, said they loved the band and couldn’t help but make frequent stops on the dance floor. “We can do a little swing dance,” said the couple

‘Four Guys in Tuxes’ will be back in Hull on Labor Day to perform the summer season finale concert.
