Authorities in Marshfield continue to try and put together the pieces after the Sovereign Bank on Route 139 was robbed on Thursday.
The robbery at 880 Plain Street happened around 11:50 a.m.
Reports are that a woman in her late 20s entered the bank, and then fled with a bag of cash.
Police called in a Plymouth County k9, which tracked a scent out of the bank to a business next door, where they then lost the trail. Police believe the suspect may have entered a waiting car and fled the scene.

For a period of at least an half and hour, Marshfield police stopped cars travelling on Route 139 from Marshfield to Pembroke, checking the cars for the suspect, or anything potentially tied to the robbery.
Marshfield Police Captain Phil Tavares was unavailable Thursday afternoon, for comment.
