Marshfield: Police investigate early morning stabbing

Marshfield police continue their investigation into an early morning stabbing outside a local laundromat.

The 20-year-old male victim was reportedly fighting with two other males around 1:30 a.m. Thursday outside the Brant Rock laundromat on Ocean Street. It’s not clear who started the fight or what it was about.

The victim was stabbed and taken to South Shore hospital and then transfered to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston; although his injuries are serious, they are not belived to be life-threatening.

The victim was vacationing with his family.

No arrests have been made yet in connection with the stabbing.
