The secretary for the Middleboro School Committee was arrested for trespassing over the weekend.
Police got a call at approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday about a suspicious vehicle on Plymouth St.
The caller reported the car was at a vacant home that belonged to his mother-in-law.
In the yard of the home, officers found 48-year-old Christine Weston, and saw another person run into the woods.
The second person wasn’t found, despite a K-9 search.
The car, which is Weston’s, was towed by police.
There was no comment Sunday from the Middleboro School Committee or the Superintendent, but officials say a meeting on the matter is tentatively scheduled for July 26.
