A Quincy man facing attempted arson charges is back at home, wearing a GPS monitor.
73-year-old Jack Aiguier is accused of trying set a beach tent in which a couple were sleeping on fire!
Aiguier will remain under home confinement until his next court date September 28.
He is also charged with assault to murder and assault with a dangerous weapon, and has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
The tent was about 50 yards from the back of Aiguier’s house.
One of the people in the tent told police he awoke early Tuesday morning to the smell of gas and said when he told Aiguier he could have killed them, Aiguier allegedly responded that that’s what he meant to do.
Police say the couple and the tent reeked of gas.
