Randolph: State police searching for car in deadly hit-and-run

State police are asking the public’s help as they search for a car in a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian on Route 24 northbound in Randolph early Sunday morning.

The victim, 29-year-old Adam Trudeau of Needham, was on foot, and may have been facing oncoming traffic when he was struck around 1:15 a.m.

A public alert has been issued for a red car, possibly a Hyundai, with front end damage.

State police said the car initially stopped, but then left the scene before the driver spoke with authorities.

The accident shut down Route 24 northbound for several hours early Sunday morning.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the car is asked to call state police at (508) 820-2121.
