Red Sox: Boston opens 10-game homestead with a win against Detroit

BOSTON (AP) — Dustin Pedroia drove in three runs — including a tiebreaking home run — and the Red Sox downed the Detroit Tigers last night, 7-3. Clay Buchholz also threw eight innings in the win and Will Middlebrooks had a two-run homer as the Sox opened a 10-game homestand.
