Red Sox: Crawford back in Boston’s lineup after elbow injury

NEW YORK (AP) — Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford was back in the lineup last night. He sat out Saturday because manager Bobby Valentine said he’d been told by the team’s medical staff not to start Crawford more than four days in a row. While Crawford says he expects his elbow will need surgery, Valentine says he’s not been told that is the case.
