BOSTON (AP) — Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask says he was surprised that fellow goalie Tim Thomas decided to sit this coming season out, but says he also appreciates Thomas’ wanting to be with his family. Rask also says he is ready to be the Bruins’ number 1 goaltender.
