A young Carver man with a criminal past was back behind bars Sunday afternoon, accused of assaulting his teenage sister.
Police told WATD it happened at the family’s home at 21 Wenham Rd. at approximately 7:00 a.m.
19-year-old Dennis Neil apparently struck the girl, then fled into a wooded area.
He was caught with the assistance of a K-9 unit.
Neither the girl’s condition nor what led to the attack are known.
No court date has been set for Neil, who was being held at the Plymouth County House of Correction.
Neil does have a prior record: In January he was arrested for shoplifting at Colony Place in Plymouth, and earlier this month, he was arrested for breaking and entering in Carver.
