Hingham: Police search for suspects in house break

Hingham police are seeking the public’s help as they investigate a house break.

Sgt. Steven Dearth told WATD nothing was stolen, but a sliding glass door and screen door at the rear of the home on Smith Rd. were removed.

He said taking the door off the tracks may have made a bit of noise and scared the suspects off.

The door to a backyard shed was also found open.

Dearth said the resident left the home early Friday morning and called police upon returning at midnight.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Hingham police at (781) 749-1212.
