A serious crash in Middleborough overnight leaves one man in a Boston hospital – with non life threatening injuries.
Fire fighters tell me that the man, a south shore resident, right around 9:30 last night, on a motorcycle, appeared to have been trying to take a corner at the intersections of Marion Road and Cherry Street and struck a cement piling.
The male victim, who was conscious, was flown by med-flight helicopter from the Middleboro High School to the Massachusetts General Hospital with head and upper body injuries.
The area of Marion Road and Cherry Street was shut down for what we are told was about 30-40 minutes.
The man’s injuries appear to be non life threatening.
The accident remains under investigation
