Pembroke: 65 year-old man injured by circular saw

A Pembroke man is at a Boston hospital following an accident with a circular saw Thursday morning.

The 65 year-old man was taken to the hospital by Medflight helicopter.

The man was working with the hand-held saw outside his Harvard street home about 7:30 this morning when the saw struck his leg causing a deep gash.

The man’s wife tied a belt around the wound to stop the bleeding and his daughter called the police.
