Pembroke: Man found dead behind shopping plaza, police say death doesn’t appear suspicious

Pembroke Police continue to investigate what led to the death of a man in his 50s, whose body was found Wednesday.

The unidentified man’s body was found Wednesday around 11:45 a.m,, behind the Stop and Shop and Kohl’s  on Church Street, according to Police Lt. Mike Jenness.

Police are still trying to piece together the puzzle: who the man is and what caused his death.

Jenness says they have no reason to believe foul play was involved.
