Red Sox: Daniel Bard to rejoin Boston roster

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Daniel Bard is set to rejoin the Boston Red Sox bullpen. Bard appeared in Boston’s clubhouse yesterday and is expected to be activated for today’s series finale against the Angels in Anaheim. The right-hander was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket in June after a failed transition into the rotation. Bard said yesterday, “It’s good to be back.”
