Red Sox: Ortiz hopes to return to the lineup after receiving injection

BOSTON (AP) — Red Sox DH David Ortiz is confident his return to the lineup is close. Ortiz took batting practice yesterday. He’s missed 20 games with a strained Achilles tendon, but had an injection to the affected area on Monday.
