Red Sox: Ortiz told to stop running as he waits for Achilles strain to heal

BALTIMORE (AP) — Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz has been told to stop running for a few days as he attempts to return from a right Achilles strain. He’s been on the disabled list since July 18th. Ortiz told reporters, “You’ve got to let injuries heal.”
