A Wareham teenager has been charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed two Bridgewater brothers, killing one and critically wounding the other.
Police arrested 18-year-old Bryan Grassie at the home of a relative in Plymouth on Sunday morning.
He has been accused of stabbing 18-year-old Brendon Mahoney and 19-year-old Brian Mahoney near Priscilla Avenue in Wareham earlier in the morning. Brendon Mahoney later died, while Brian Mahoney remains in critical condition at a Rhode Island hospital.
Grassie was arraigned on Monday in Wareham District Court on charges two charges of assault with intent to murder and two charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Now, on Monday Grassie will be arraigned on a charge of murder in Wareham District Court.
Grassie has been held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing, also scheduled for Monday.
