Quincy: Officer escapes injury following attack

A Quincy police officer is lucky to walk away…after he was attacked Saturday afternoon.

The unidentified officer saw two men fighting at the corner of Independence and Presidents Avenues.

He called for backup, and was attacked by several other people while trying to break up the fight.

Three people were arrested, and the officer was treated and released.
