It was a busy Saturday for Carver police.
A woman was arrested late in the afternoon for shoplifting at the King Richard’s Faire.
Rhonda Mackiewicz will appear in Wareham District Court on Tuesday.
In another incident, shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Carver officers responded to a call about a vehicle that veered off Plymouth St. and into a pond.
Police arriving on the scene found a pickup truck upside down in the water, with only the tires showing.
The driver, Peter Grover of Kingston, was pulled from the vehicle by area residents.
An off-duty firefighter performed C.P.R. and revived him before he was taken to a hospital, and was reported to be in good condition at Jordan Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Also in Carver, a suspected drunk driver arrested Saturday night, will be in Wareham District Court on Tuesday
At approximately nine p.m., police pulled over an S.U.V. driven by Catherine Nelson after getting a call about an erratic driver.
Police say she appeared to be drunk and had an open alcohol container.
