Tuesday morning, a Duxbury home fell victim to a daytime robber.
For less than two hours, a home on Woodland Way was vacant while the homeowner was at an appointment. When his adult daughter stopped by the Duxbury residence just before 11:30AM she noticed the backdoor was kicked open.
In fear that the invader was still in the home, she immediately drove to the police station. Police searched the home and then the surrounding area with a K-9 unit but no suspect was found.
Two computers were stolen by the invader. The homeowner says one was an iMac Pro he bought the previous day. He was actually transferring his information onto the new computer when it was taken.
The Duxbury break-in is currently under investigation.
