Three people were killed in two South Shore motorcycle accidents over the weekend.
The first happened in Quincy, where police said the bike operated by 40-year-old Thomas Coffey hit a dump truck on Ricciuti Dr. shortly before 5:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Coffey and his passenger, his eight-year-old son, Ethan, were pronounced dead at area hospitals.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
Late Saturday night, an unidentified 51-year-old Avon man was killed when his motorcycle crashed in Brockton.
Police told WATD the victim was riding on Pleasant St./Route 27 at approximately 11:00 p.m. when he went off the road and crashed into a sign.
Both crashes were still under investigation.
