Carver: Two residents arrested after a car and house were broken into

A 21 year-old man, identified by Carver Police as Taylor LeClair and a 31 year-old woman, Jessica McNayr, both from Carver, have been arrested after a car and a home were broken into early Monday morning.

Police officers were dispatched to the area of Woodlawn Drive following a report of a suspicious person near a homeowner’s vehicle. A call placed a short time later to the police station alerted the officers that a vehicle had been broken into on Center Street.  A man dressed in a black coat carrying a black backpack was seen running through a yard toward White Pine Lane.  A K-9 from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department tracked the suspect to the rear of 4B Harvest View Way where police found an open bulkhead. The homeowner then gave the police officers permission to search the home. McNayr was found hiding under some clothing. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Conspiracy to Violate the drug Laws and Larceny over $250.00. LeClair was found hiding under a pile of laundry. When police found the backpack nearby, it contained what they believe were a variety of stolen items. LeClair was arrested for Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle with the Intent to Commit a Felony and Larceny over $250.00.
