Marshfield: Woman involved in crash faces charges of OUI-drugs

A woman in her 60s is under arrest and charged with OUI drugs, after she crashed her car Wednesday afternoon on Webster Street in Marshfield.

Marshfield Police Captain Michael McDonough says Sharon Gentile of Pembroke has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs, marked lanes violation and operating to endanger.

Gentile, awas driving a newer model white Audi sedan, when she drifted off the roadway at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, struck some shrubbery, a rock wall and a utility pole in front of numbers 65 and 75 Webster Street.

There were no reported injuries.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Gentile was being held at the Marshfield Police Station.
