Plymouth, England: Two Plymouths gather for meeting of minds

The Plymouth, England Chamber of Commerce hosted a meeting for an exchange of ideas with its counterpart in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

On Thursday night, the Plymouth, England Chamber of Commerce met with the Plymouth, Massachusetts Chamber at the National Marine Aquarium. Town officials and business leaders compared notes about plans for the 2020 Celebration. David Parlby is the Chief Executive of the Plymouth, England Chamber:

“Our thinking, probably is not as advanced in detail as Plymouth, Massachusetts, yet, but I think we’ll catch up fairly quickly. And I suspect, we’ll catch up fairly quickly because of today’s and this week’s interaction between us.”

A quarter of a million people live in Plymouth, England. The city is located almost 250  miles south west of London.
