Plymouth: Local man charged with rape, pleads not-guilty

A Duxbury man has been charged with rape and is due back in court next month.

48-year-old Kevin Craffey of Duxbury turned himself into Plymouth Police Wednesday night.

Plymouth County Assistant District Attorney Russ Eonas says the one count of rape that Craffey was charged with stems from an incident dating back to August 17th, 2012, although he declined to comment further on the case.

A not-guilty plea was entered on Craffey’s behalf at his arraignment this week. He was released on $1,000 dollars cash bail the night he turned himself in, and remains free.

Craffey is due back in court December 6, 2012.
