Incumbent Rep. Geoff Diehl, R-Whitman has held onto his 7th Plymouth District seat.
Diehl, a small business owner, won the seat in 2010, and faced a challenge this year from Abington Democrat Robert Toomey, Jr., a retired Boston police patrolman and substitute teacher in Abington.
Toomey said that the race was a good one, he wouldn’t count out another run in the future.
The district consists of Abington, Whitman and East Bridgewater
