Quincy: Santa drops in, by parachute

Quincy takes Christmas very seriously. To kick off the season this past weekend, the city pulled out all the stops: on Friday it was caroling, a gingerbread decorating contest, and the lighting of the city center. On Sunday, it was the city’s traditional Christmas parade. And in between, Santa himself made a dramatic arrival in town.
