Carver police say they arrested a man Friday morning who was in possession of drugs, cash, and a loaded handgun.
Police say that at approximately 6 a.m. they executed a search warrant at 23 Main Street, when 28-year-old Florence F. Raymond, of Carver arrived at the scene. Mr. Raymond had plastic bags containing what is believed to be cocaine and heroin, over $5,200 in cash, and was also carrying a loaded 40-caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number.
Mr. Raymond was taken into custody and later transferred to Wareham District Court for arraignment.
The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation involving State Police Troopers assigned to the Auto Theft Task Force and Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz’s CPAC Unit, K9 Units and BCI Deputies from Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph McDonald’s Department.
Raymond was held on $2500 cash bail. He is scheduled to be back in court on December 7, 2012.
