Middleboro: Veteran scratches $10 mil ticket

A vet from Middleboro marked Veterans Day by snagging a $10 million lottery prize.

Edward Santiago shelled out $20 for the lotto’s 40^thAnniversary Millions scratch ticket and came away a big winner, beating odds of five million-to-one.

The Marine veteran has a son serving in Afghanistan and another enlisting in the Army.
