South Shore: Outages cause problems after winds rip through area

Utility companies are saying this nor’easter dealt them a double whammy on top of the damage caused by Sandy.

Nstar Spokesman Mike Durand says crews are working, and have been working hard to restore power to all customers.

In Marshfield, Kingston, Duxbury, Scituate, Carver, Plymouth and must of the South Shore — the numbers of customers have fluxuated all day.

As a reminder, never just assume that the utility company is aware that you are with out power.
