Braintree: Apparent drunk-driver strikes house

A Whitman man whose blood-alcohol was more than twice the legal limit, is accused of crashing his car in to a house in Braintree.

Police say 61-year-old Stephen D. Libby was driving on Franklin St. during Saturday night’s snowstorm, when he went off the road and struck the home.

He had minor injuries, and the house didn’t sustain much damage.
