Braintree police are investigating a robbery at the Eastern Bank located at 51 Commercial St.
It happened Friday evening.
A bank teller reported receiving a note from a man demanding money.
The man is described as a white male, 5’6” to 5’7”, slender build, clean shaven, in his early thirties and wearing a dark knit hat with a white ring around it and a dark colored jacket.
No weapon was shown and no one was injured.
The man fled the bank with an undisclosed sum of money and traveled on foot down Quincy Avenue toward Quincy.
