Braintree: Teen struck by vehicle while walking in crosswalk

A 14-year-old Braintree student was struck by the passenger side mirror of a motor vehicle while she was walking in the Union Street crosswalk around 7 a.m. Thursday.

The student was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.

The 51-year-old driver was cited for failing to stop and having an obscured window.
