A 49-year-old Weymouth man was taken into custody Thursday by Braintree police after they say they found him slumped over the wheel of his vehicle on John Mahr Street.
A witness said he had been there for at least 10 minutes.
Officers say Robert DiSalvo had signs of intoxication and the vehicle’s transmission was in drive.
DiSalvo is being charged with operating under the influence of alcohol.
