Carver: Man arrested after Christmas day domestic dispute

A Christmas Day domestic dispute between a husband and wife brought Carver Police to a home on Commons Drive.

The family’s nine year old child called police telling the dispatcher that his father punched his mother in the face.

When police arrived at the home, they found that 47 year old Roger Santos had caused physical injury to his wife. He was arrested and transported to the Carver Police Station. During the course of the investigation it was also learned that Roger Santos had picked up their 4 month old puppy and threw it several times. The puppy appeared frightened but unharmed.

Santos is being charged with Assault and Battery on a Household Member and Cruelty to Animals.
