A Carver man is due in Wareham District Court on Monday morning following a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Montello Street and North Main Street in Carver.
Just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Carver Police responded to the crash.
Police found a Buick LeSabre had struck a sign, a guy wire and a utility pole.
The driver of the vehicle, 24 year-old Mark Sirois, was arrested at the scene and charged with operating under the influence of intoxicating liquors, operating after suspension and operating so as to endanger. He was taken to the Plymouth County House of Correction where he is being held until his arraignment.
