Duxbury: Car rolls over, catches fire on Route 3

A crash Monday afternoon on Route 3 north in Duxbury clogged traffic, and shut down atleast one lane of travel.

Massachusetts State Police Trooper Todd Nolan says one person suffered minor injuries in the crash, which happened close to Exit 11 in Duxbury.

Trooper Nolan says the car left the road way, rolled over, and came to rest on the wood-line. He says the car began to smoke and then quickly became ungullfed in flames.

The crash which happened just before noon time shut down the left travel lanes for about 45 minutes.

 Trooper Nolan says the driver’s injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.
