Three adults are displaced after a fire Monday afternoon, swept through a home in Halifax.
American Red Cross officials say volunteers responded to 49 Elm St. in Halifax; the scene of a fire and provided services for three adults; which include: emergency temporary shelter (a hotel stay), emergency funds for food, clothing and shoes.
The State Fire Marshal’s office was called to the scene.
The fire swept through the home on Elm Street shortly before 5 pm, and brought crews from Halifax, Pembroke, Hanson and East Bridgewater to town.
