Plymouth: ATV and dirt bike accident claims a life

Massachusetts police say the driver of a dirt bike fled after the bike and an all-terrain vehicle crashed in a bog in Plymouth, killing the male minor who was operating the ATV.

Reggie Zimmerman, spokesman for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, said authorities received a call about the crash about 2 p.m. Sunday. The crash occurred at Darby Station Road.

Zimmerman said that authorities were searching for the bike rider.

No names or ages were immediately released.

Environmental police, state police, and Plymouth police were investigating.
