A college student from West Bridgewater, who is a junior at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, is accused of posting online threats that said he planned to “shoot up” a Massachusetts movie theater.
21 year-old Gregory Hamalian was arrested at the school Friday night, according to a spokesman for the Worcester County District Attorney’s office.
The alleged threats did not specify a particular theater.
Hamalian is being held on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Worcester District Court on Monday.
He is facing a charge of making terrorist threats and four counts of threatening to commit a crime.
