A young woman is lucky to be alive after a horrific crash in Carver.
Police were called to a wooded area off of Plymouth St. at approximately 11:30 a.m. Sunday and found a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck lying on its side.
The driver, 18-year-old Rebecca Waitt, was able to get out of the vehicle on her own, though authorities had to help get a passenger out.
The passenger’s condition is unclear.
Police believe speed and wet conditions caused the truck to go off the road, hitting several trees.
