“Our ability to have our obstetricians, our surgeons, and other specialists on this campus readily available to our patients is huge!,” said Peter Holden, President and CEO of Jordan Hospital, at a groundbreaking ceremony Monday.
Holden explained that he’s excited to see construction begin after five-years of planning. He said the timing is finally perfect to welcome an office building for OBGYN services, midwifery, primary care and specialists.
“Health care’s changing. Health care is going to continue to change and Jordan is trying to change just ahead of it. We don’t want to get dressed up for the wrong party so we’re not trying to get too far out ahead of health reform. But we know that the fundamental foundation for health care going forward is a partnership between the medical community and the hospital community,” noted Holden
The building will be 30,000 square feet. Construction is expected to be completed this fall.
